2019 was the second year the contest was held in April, avoiding the snow storms of recent years that always seemed to happen on contest weekend.

Charlie Shepard W1CPS, Cindy Shepard W1CJS, Greg Dean K1ME, and Dakota Dumont KB1YYC, operated as QRP mobiles, while Stefania Watson K1GJY, and Tim Watson KB1HNZ, operated in the Medium Mobile category. Dakota was heard mostly in the towns North of Portland (Falmouth, Yarmouth, Cumberland, etc.), while Charlie and Cindy covered a lot of the greater Portland area. Tim and Stefania covered the most ground, ranging from Lewiston to the Berwicks. Greg Dean K1ME, operated from hilltops in Sebago and Bridgton, and made some impressive long distance QSOs, including one from Bridgton to North Berwick, with K1GJY.

Similar to years past, the most popular categories were the medium-powered classes, and they were also the most competitive
, with K1GJY and KB1HNZ being separated by only 1 QSO, and 2 bonus points in Medium Mobile, and Medium Fixed saw a three-way battle between AC1FB, WX1GYX, and WS1EC. Eric Emery KC1HJK, who operated from the National Weather Service, in Gray, edged out last year's overall winner, Ara by just 4 multipliers!

Bert and Annette Dumont operated from their home in Greene, and they had very strong signals north of Portland. Rick Alderette KB1ASM, who was the High Fixed winner, also had a strong signal throughout York County. Some stations that appeared in many logs, include Ben Bruns KC1HBL, Dave Wood KB1FGF, Dave Feeney WN1F, Waylon MacDonald KC1HJN, David Dyro KC1FRZ, Harry McNelley N1TTT, Christian Hutchins KC1JLZ, and Adam Mains N3AWM.
